Three is such a fun age to shop for! A whole new world of 3+ toys have opened up to them. This also means shopping can be a little overwhelming. When shopping for my 2 toddlers, I love trying to get gifts from several categories! Here are some of our tried and true toys that my kids have loved to help you out.

3 Year Old Play Kits (USA & Canada): Lovevery just came out with new play kits for 3 year olds and they are amazing. Save yourself the time and grab one of these kits. You will not regret it!
What I like about Me Book (USA, Canada): Being different is what makes a special. Includes a mirror on the last page.
Fire Truck with Drill (USA, Canada): We have a few of this vehicles! It has a real working drill and introduces kids to construction and engineering.
Tea Set (USA, Canada): One of the most used toys in our home is this tea set. Both of my toddlers love using water as their “tea” while sitting at their little table.
Scoop and Serve Ice cream Counter (USA, Canada): My toddlers love this ice cream set with all of the toppings! Amazing reviews from so many parents.
Play food set with Knife (USA, Canada): Something so simple keep both of my toddlers entertained! They love this little set. Velcro fasteners allow for the food to be easily “cut.”
Food Play Book (USA, Canada): This book is perfect if you are looking for your little one to spend more time helping in the kitchen. Colorful photos with easy recipes that your toddler will love to make with you.
Toddler Knife Set (USA, Canada): Extremely lightweight yet cuts very well! Your 3 year will love helping you in the kitchen which is so important.
Doll house (USA, Canada): If you are looking for a doll house them look no further. This is a pricey item, but I do take into account resale value in most things that I purchase. Comes with furniture and will be a beautiful addition to your play space.
Reusable Sticker Pads (USA, Canada): These reusable stickers are the BEST ones we have ever purchased. I swear by these, especially when this Mama is in need of a break. These will give you a good hour for sure. I pre-peel all the stickers first which allow my kids to be completely independent.
Magnetic Tiles (USA, Canada): If you haven’t purchased a set of magnetic tiles yet, now is the time. The MOST used toy in our home. I prefer Connetix or Magnatiles since the have high safety standards as well as the strongest magnets. (Can build higher)
Push and Go Steam Train (USA, Canada): All the fun of Duplo in an amazing train set. So many fun features! Grab this bridge expansion as well for even more fun!
Potato Head Family (USA, Canada): Build your own family! The baby is so cute! This is a classic that your kids will play with for a long time.
Christmas Fidget Poppers: Check out Santa which is a really good size (USA, Canada) or this really big Christmas Tree! (USA, Canada)
Big Book of Why (USA, Canada): The First Books from Discovery Channel are a wonderful purchase. You will start collecting them all!
Duplo Building Site (USA, Canada): This is a wonderful age for Duplo. I love these smaller sets since they are not as overwhelming as the larger ones.
Car Transporter (USA, Canada): Amazing reviews because it is amazing! We use ours outside since its easy to clean.
Magnetic Dress Up Doll: These are so fun! These dolls are also anatomically correct. Grab Joey (USA, Canada) or Julia (USA, Canada)
Vet Set (USA, Canada): Since the pandemic started, my toddlers love playing doctor and taking temperatures. This set will be a favorite on Christmas Day!
Balance Rock Blocks (Worldwide) Use Code PLAYROOM10: This amazing blocks teach so much! They are one of my 3 year olds favorite toys. I love how they teach him focus and patience. They are a great price and definitely worth picking up.
Balance Bike (USA, Canada): If you haven’t picked up a balance bike yet, take it from me…its a must! Parents that I have talked to wish they had started with one of these since it makes learning to ride so much easier! My 3 year old rides is bike all around the house and out on the trails. This is the best brand in my opinion.
Folding Sand Play set: If your child loves Kinetic Sand then you need to grab one of these play sets. Makes it so much easier to store and to take on the go. Here are my favs: Construction (USA, Canada) Sand Castle (USA, Canada)
Play Kitchen Pots & Pans (USA, Canada): We have had this set for a few years now and they are definitely a favorite. Still look great too!
Animal Movement Dice (USA & Canada): These dice are so fun! Use them like a game of charades. Gets kids moving and acting like these animals! Definitely a best seller.
Fire Station (USA, Canada): A fan favorite! It’s a great size and I love that its realistic with a little bit of sound. Even better if you have multiple kids since it will can be used by many different ages.
Map Puzzle (USA & Canada): This world map puzzle comes in many different colors. We have the rainbow one and absolutely love it.
